Creative Design Director and Publisher with a wide and varied background of working within the luxury fashion, jewellery and corporate industries. Over seeing all aspects of a project from initial brainstorming and idea generation to commissioning the relevant writers/artists/stylists and photographers to proofreading and scheduling and budgeting, working within brand guidelines. Ultimately leading my team in the art direction/look and feel of the magazine to final print sign off and distribution of the end product.
Luxury fashion clients have included Tatler and Harper’s Bazaar, Jooal jewellers in Mayfair and the iconic luxury fashion shoe brand GINA. Corporate clients such as The Savoy Hotel, Strand Palace Hotel, Dunvegan Castle in Scotland, The Porterhouse bar in Covent Garden and Diplomat magazine for which I was nominated Designer of the Year for two BSME awards and one PPA award.
Having identified a gap in the market I took the risk to self-publish a new luxury, quarterly magazine for the Covent Garden area. Taking the magazine from an idea to a current readership of 120K+ including managing to secure advertising clients such as The Savoy Hotel, The W Hotel, Rules Restaurant, The Waldorf Hotel and The Really Useful Theatre Company.
